BiggerCity is an online meeting place for adults, providing a social network service where users can join and have the opportunity to connect with other users in our global community. BiggerCity Mobile App services are operated by Luzeon LLC, a company registered in the state of Delaware, USA.
To provide you BiggerCity Services, we collect and process personal and non-personal data from you. The types of information we collect depend on how you use our Services. Personal data means any data that can enable someone to identify you. Non-personal data means information generated as you use our services, for example access logs and usage statistics.
You choose to give us certain information when using our services. This includes:
• Registration Information
An account is required to use most of the features provided by our service. When you create an account at BiggerCity, we will collect certain information about you, like account credentials (a username and password of your choice, as well as an email address), and also some personal information such as your location, date of birth (for age), weight, height and optional descriptors used specifically within our community.
Some of the information described above is also used to create your online "Profile". Once registered, you are able to review and make change this information from your account "Settings" and "Profile" page.
• Profile Information
You online account and profile information identifies you to other users on our services. Through your profile, you also have the opportunity to voluntarily provide other details about yourself, which are optional. Some of this information may include photos, videos, physical and social details about you, relationship status, location, personal traits and preferences, interests, as well as information about your health, lifestyle and goals. You also have the option of providing additional information you wish to share, including in your own words, through other profile fields.
Some of the information you choose to provide us may be considered "special" or "sensitive" in certain jurisdictions, for example your racial or ethnic background, sexual orientation and religious beliefs. By choosing to provide any information, you consent to our processing of that information. You should always carefully consider what information you share, especially if it is sensitive personal information.
Because you control your user profile, these details are available to you at any time by accessing your "Profile" page, which gives you the chance to correct, update or remove such information.
• Your usage
We collect the content, communications and other information you provide when you use our Services, including when you sign up for an account, create or share content, and message or communicate with others. This includes information such as messages, shared media content (photo, video, audio files), links, other digital interactions typical of social media services, and any meta-data associated with such content.
Some features of the service allow you to collect or "save" information associated with your account. This includes, but is not limited to, saving favorites, placing user blocks or unlocks, ratings and social interactions, as well as any meta-data related to such activities.
We collect information necessary to complete a purchase. If you decide to subscribe to our paid service or make any other purchases from us, you may need to provide us with information, such as your name, billing address, debit/credit card number or other financial information. All personal information including payment and financial information is encrypted using the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol before they are submitted to us over the Internet.
• Customer Support and Feedback
If you contact our customer support team, we collect the information you give us during the interaction. We may request and collect additional personal information to verify account ownership and/or process your request.
• Other Sources
We may collect information you share when you participate in surveys or focus groups where you give us your insights into our products and services, and responses to our questions, or testimonials.
We may also collect data, such as the information that you use to register or enter, when you choose to participate in our promotions, events or contests.
• Usage information
We collect information about your activity on our services. For example, when you use the services and how you interact with other users. This may include the dates and times you signed in, the features you accessed, pages and views that have been shown to you, clicks and gestures you perform on your browser or device, and usage statistics.
• Things others do and information they provide about you
We also receive and analyze content, communications and information that other people provide when they use our Services. This can include information about you, such as when others react on a photo you posted, or send a message to you.
• Device information
We collect information from/about the devices and software you use to access our services, including; device attributes, operations, identifiers, signals, settings, network data, and cookie data (see section below).
Through specific device permissions, you may also grant us the ability to collect additional device information. This can be data from sensors such as your GPS location (latitude/longitude) for location-based searches, unique identifiers generated for push-notifications, and access to device components such as the camera or microphone for taking photos, recording videos, or engaging in video or voice calls with other users of the service. Device permissions are usually mediated by your device, can be configured directly from the device settings, and can be granted or revoked by you at any time.
Certain information, such as device/browser information, sensors, location, software and connectivity data may update automatically as you use our services and products.
We collect certain non-personal identifying information through the use of "cookies." A cookie is a small piece of text that a web site can send to your browser or device so it can be stored on your system. Some cookies are deleted when you end your online session ("session cookies"), while others may be stored on your device indefinitely ("persistent cookies").
We use session cookies on this site to store information such as user login status (so that you a signed-in session and don't have to re-enter your username and password on every page or feature). These cookies expire automatically a short of amount of time after your visit, or when you log out. We may use persistent cookies on our services to store personalized preferences to enhance your experience while browsing the site. These include settings that determine how certain portions of the service are displayed, such as basic search preferences or your username.
We use your information primarily to deliver and improve our Services. In addition to this and the uses described above, we use your information to:
• Identify you as a user on our Services.
• Provide, personalize and improve our Services.
• Promote safety, integrity and security within our Services.
• Communicate with you.
• Promote, market and advertise our Services and those of affiliated partners. This includes email marketing campaigns. You may opt-out of receiving marketing messages by using the opt-out mechanisms and links provided in each email.
• Administer our Services and products.
BiggerCity takes the security of your personal information very seriously. Our Services protect your personal information during transit using encryption such as Transport Layer Security (TLS). When we store your personal data, we use computer systems with limited access, housed in facilities using physical security measures.
When you use our Services to publish or post content, some of the personal information and content you share is visible to other users and can be read, collected, or used by them. You are responsible for the personal information you choose to share or submit in these instances. For example, if you list your name, phone number or email address in a forum posting, that information is public. Please take care when using these features.
Your information is shared with others in the following ways:
• People and accounts you share and communicate with.
When you use our Services to communicate with other users, you may choose to communicate through private channels (e.g., private messages), or in a public channel such as posting a message in a public forum or in your public profile. Any information you share through private channels will be seen by the recipients you target. Information you share through public channels can be seen by anyone, including those on or off our Services.
• Information about your active status or presence on our Services.
When you use our Services, your profile can become active and visible to other users. This includes signals that identify you as being active or "online" during your session, as well as location updates that may place you at a distance away from other users.
Who monitor activity on the apps, review and approve content you and other users send us.
• Payment Processors.
To facilitate payments for our Premium services.
We work with third-party advertising networks and service providers on our platforms and Services, but we don't share information that personally identifies you (information such as your name or email address that by itself can be used to contact you or identifies who you are). These advertising networks and providers collect device data with the purpose to send you interest-based advertising. The information collected for this purpose may include descriptors received from web browsers or operating systems such as browser types and settings, the operating systems, device models, carriers, location information, IP address, mobile device and advertising identifiers (e.g. Apple IDFA or Google Advertising ID), as well as cookie information, pixel or other similar technology.
• New ownership.
If the ownership or control of all or parts of our Services or their assets changes, we may transfer your information to the new owner.
• Law enforcement or legal requests.
We share information with law enforcement or in response to legal requests in the circumstances outlined below.
We provide you with the ability to access, rectify and erase information that you provided to us that's directly associated with your account and profile. You can help ensure that your contact information and preferences are accurate, complete, and up to date by signing in to your account and using features of our Services, such as the account settings editor, or your profile editor. If you have any question on those tools and settings, please contact our customer care team for help.
For other personal information we hold, we will provide you with access (including a copy) for any purpose including to request that we correct the data if it is inaccurate or delete the data if we are not required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes. For your protection and the protection of all of our users, we may ask you to provide proof of identity before we can process data access and deletion requests. We may decline to process requests that are frivolous/vexatious, jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by local law. Also, we may not be able to accommodate certain requests to object to the processing of personal information, notably where such requests would not allow us to provide our service to you anymore. For instance, we cannot provide our service if we do not have your date of birth.
Mobile platforms have permission systems for specific types of device data and notifications, such as location services, advertising services, push notifications, and paid subscription services. You can change your settings on your device to consent, deny, reset or stop the collection of the corresponding information or the display of the corresponding notifications. Of course, if you block or stop such services, certain features on BiggerCity may lose full functionality.
You can delete your account by using the corresponding functionality directly on our Services. When you delete your account, it is immediately made unavailable and fully deleted within 30 days.
Correspondence with our Customer Support team will be retained for longer to allow us to deal with any subsequent queries you may have but will usually be deleted within 6 years if there are no queries.
Anonymised information about activity on BiggerCity is retained for longer for statistical and product research purposes but this is not attributable to an individual once the account has been deleted.
Information such as payment information, IP addresses, mobile numbers and email addresses are retained for anti-fraud and anti-spam purposes for as long as they are relevant, and required to us by law.
We will cooperate with third parties to enforce their intellectual property or other rights.
In certain situations, BiggerCity may be required to access, preserve, and disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities. We reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law, within or outside your country of residency, and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, the safety or vital interests of a person, or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, subpoena, search warrant, or similar legal process served on us, or our Services.
We will take reasonable steps to ensure that we only collect that personal information that is relevant for the purposes for which it is to be used. Furthermore, we will not process your personal information in a way that is incompatible with these purposes.
Our Services and all of our data, including your personal data, are hosted on servers in the United States. If you are using or accessing our Services from outside of the United States, your data will be transferred to, processed and stored in the United States. As a result, United States federal and state governments, courts, or law enforcement or regulatory agencies may be able to obtain your data through laws applicable in the United States. United States laws may not offer the same privacy protections as the law of your jurisdiction.
BiggerCity is for adults only, and restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, do not submit any personal information through the Service. If you have reason to believe that we may have accidentally received personal information from an individual under age 18, please contact us immediately.
